@WingChopMasta Doom 3 is more than a tech demo. It's actually a fun and scary game. The claustrophobic environments actually add to the tension. Very different from the Michael Bay style cinematics of modern FPS games; chock full of quick time events. Newer doesn't mean better.

@queuing_for_PS4 I love the japanese too, but I have to give credit where credit is due. He might not have saved the industry from near death, but he did bring forth some really cool things like 3D environments and 1st person perspective.

Id doesn't even make that many games. I didn't think Rage was all that bad. TBH, I only played the demo. But to judge a guy for one game is ...pretentious.

@WingChopMasta Snore? You think Doom is boring? Doom is one of the greatest games ever made. The last one was released almost a decade ago, so it's not like they're releasing a Doom every year or two. I'm sure Doom 4 will be just as great as 1-2-3 were in their time.
