I have loved this game since I first played it on PS3 last year. Tonight though I started a deprived and while rolling around in human form I noticed something...odd.

It's a beautiful day in Los Angeles when the winds carry the smog out of the air and give its people a clear look at some of Californias most beautiful mountain ranges. Likewise it is a beautiful day when I can log onto Gamespot and take a look at the top 10 and have the pleasure of being greated by 7 indie developed games. The top 10 for when it changes was as follows

1. The Witcher 2 * (The king of the indies and led by my favorite company Cd Projekt)

2. Total War: Shogun 2 (not indie but **** it they have always been awesome :)

3. Tribes: Ascend *

4. Journey *

5. Xenoblade Chronicles (again awesome game no matter lack of indie status)

6. Fez * (I WANT A PC VERSION)

7. Trials Evolution *

8. Skullgirls *

9. Blacklight: Retribution*

10. Legend Of Grimrock* (piping hot and full of throwback indie goodness!)

The point of this post really was to display my gratitude to our community (yes even the ****ing trolls). I have been a gamer since I could hold a controller and I somehow have not felt so much LIFE in our industry since the days of SNES. Devs are taking risks and gamers are funding those risks. Kickstarters are resurrecting series long since passed on and there is a new awesome game for under 20 bucks almost every other week on Steam, PSN and or XBLA. Call this a love letter if you will but in all sincerity, thank you guys :)
