Here's the real scoop. Phil Fish is a brilliant man, but he like many other brilliant people don't have the social skills down. Yeah he comes off as a cry baby and sadly that is a nerd reflex, I know cause I have it too :) People suck!
@speedracer3190 Sins of a Solar Empire, Galactic Civilizations II, Endless Space, Stardrive, and older games if you don't mind dated graphics and UI like Masters of Orion II and Alpha Centauri which is basically Civilization on Alpha Centauri.
I wonder if Microsoft buckles pre release and drops the price? How much would it hurt them with cost of build I wonder? I think they are in trouble as an outsider looking in. I don't own a console myself and have no preference to either company personally. I am a PC gamer though and I see the Xbox One releasing with all the same catastrophes that came with the launch of Windows 8. Alienation from their core audience and pure and utter gutting of what at one point made them so strong, the games... Sony didn't do much better in my eyes as far as the straying aspect was concerned really. Granted the games were mildly more intriguing, they still looked like your typical console, hold your hand guide you through, oh and do you wanna facebook that? Hmmm games suck today!
This must be troll bait. I don't like picking on specific editors normally, but Carolyn, this is seriously $^%&ed. Microsoft won nothing. If anything 343 showed well, the South Park game showed well, some others were okay and the rest was Kinect garbage. As for the "smart glass" nonsense. Seriously immersion in entertainment shouldn't need gimmicks like this to help propel it. The game itself should be the immersion, I don't know kinda like "The Last Of Us".
