Haven't watched House of Horrors for a while!

Omg I was interested in this game but it's funny in the wrong ways. Although I have to say it's probably better that it is funny than not. The scare element doesn't seem very big in this game.

Jess is spot on about Japanese characters and their hair. Oh and me likes Zorine's wink at the end! ;D

Does the scene where Lucius rides his tricycle remind anyone of the horror movie The Shining? The kid in the movie saw things when he was riding it. The movie shot it in a more spine-chilling way.

Good to have Zorine back and have Dan join us!

Collecting dead birds huh, lovely. This game doesn't seem very scary at all. May I suggest turning up the in game background music (if there is any) because it wasn't very noticeable.

I have to protest: Spirit Tracks is a great game. We're told "Well it just sucks" without even a reason?

Really enjoyed the show Cam. Interesting connection made about schadenfreude (had to copy and paste that word!). Now I don't need to feel so bad about taking pleasure when someone else is miserable *evil laughter resonates in the background*. A bit more related to topic, I still believe some competition is better than no competition. A monopoly is likely to bring down product quality.

Thanks for going through all the trouble of researching about studies on schadenfreude (another c&p) and even how to say the very word. This is why I come to Gamespot instead of IGN.

Played both Drakengard 1 &2 as well as NieR Replicant (Japanese version, you can only get NieR outside Japan), all great games by team Cavia. They are famous in creating worlds that often make you feel desperate and hopeless. There will be plenty of crazy and mentally unstable characters in it. Major plot twists should be anticipated, especially the ending. All the story plots are haunting yet beautiful in its own way. You will like this game if you don't mind an imperfect ending, because the humanity shown by the characters is what is truly touching and satisfying. Not to mention that the in game music is superb in conveying the story. There was not much gameplay change from Drakengard 1 to 2, so I am hoping there will be new elements in 3. The Utautai are suppose to have special abilities I've heard. Anyway high hopes of this game from me!

If amending parts of the gameplay doesn't change the story, I have nothing to complain about. Sure, the experience may not be the same, but higher level of violence doesn't mean a better game. 5-10 seconds of the game is really nothing anyway.

Now everyone is curious to find out what has been changed. This draws more attention than not censoring it at all. Perhaps a marketing tactic?

Wow. This game can probably only scare people who don't know what a zombie is prior playing. Zero on the scare scale. Did Ubisoft left its talents at home when making this game?

Thank you for playing this for us! I had no idea a horror game can be this bad. While it totally failed in getting us scared, it was actually pretty entertaining. And no offense to Jess of course, but it's nice to see a different face playing House of Horrors once in a while.

This has got to be one of the funniest episodes of recent weeks. It was hard not to laugh out loud to avoid waking my housemates who're asleep. Is there a way to check which games Jess and Zorine has played, like a "played horro games list"? Would like to see the girls play Capcom's Haunting Ground. It's one creepy and scary game.
