Big publishers paying ESB millions to STOP hosting E3 the way it is, is like gamers saying "hey Blizzard here is your 15 bucks now please stop making your game so addictive, i want my life back". It is just silly. There has to be a better way. E3 prevent developers from working on games... can't they exercise self-restrain? They make it sound like E3 is putting a gun to their heads, "get me an E3 demo out by May or die!" Big publisher's booth are too big and expensive, there isn't enough space for the small developers that want in... how about standardizing the size of every booth, it's 40x60 foot for everyone whether you're called Nintendo or Wasig. Plus who's to say another industry organization won't come out and hold a new video game expo on the scale as E3. Someone might even do it just for the ransom money at this point.
