Why is Gamespot not only promoting this but misinforming its readers? Shame on you, is this the depth this website has sunk to?

I just purchased it and after the purchase saw it was "Office 2021 professional plus". The plus bit implies that this is a volume license which means that they shouldn't be selling it, and rest assured Microsoft WILL be disabling it in the future as they always do with resold volume licenses.

Kudos to the developers for trying to make a future proof game . But I have to agree with a few of the negative comments here . Old games are cheaper. Why buy this game now when I can buy it at bargain price later and run it the way it was supposed to be run . The only marketing value I can see in this is the money made from selling the right to use the engine.Oh well , good news for the consumer anyway :) .
