you're either lying or have very bad luck. 7? Give me break, I am on my 1st. Maybe the 33% of consoles effected only go to 5-10% of the population lol.AdmiralDan

[QUOTE="Hoyt34"]my box is being sent...how long do the repairs take?chansaet
total repair time including waiting for box to arrive is usually between 3-5 weeks. Pretty much one month.

And I just heard the sound of his heart drop, the first time you read that its a blow to the morale.

Does the power box light have to be green in order for it to work? I heard that if it's yellow that it isn't working, and my Xbox 360 is giving me one red light and I've heard that the power box was the problem. Anyone know anything about this?Ryo_Kensen
Well you can check out this page to start your troubleshooting, if you look down a bit it says the color of the light on the adapter and what could be wrong. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907534

I swear when i get a 360 if it breaks i'll be pissedSkillz-on-Pillz
Get ready to be pissed. Seems its inevitable for everyone, just a matter of time. This extended 3 year thing for the ring, its just not going to cut it. MS needs to find a quick universal solution for everyone, they are setting themselves up for a catastrophic downfall in the industry if they continue these practices. Its quite sickening actually.

I think the fact that this thread is over 500 pages really says something. Mine just got bricked while playing halo 3. It gives me time to catch up on my other systems but still, 360 is(was?) my favorite by far. Only once will I go through this bs of having to send it back. It happens again and I trade in all my games and want a full refund/credit for the 360 from MS. Honestly, what kind of mechanical device is it where even when its working fine you are always worried that at any second it could crap out on you. Even when I get my refurbished/new 360, I will be worried even more now that its just a matter of time before it dies again. That thought hasnt crossed my mind for a single second with my ps3. Get it together MS and do a mass recall or something of the sort.
