Are people iver-sensitive nowaday? Yes. Should the public obide the rule of loud minorities (which are both left and right)? No.
however, I think this is a mroe delicate case. Through her social media Carano leveraged the reach and publicity that Disney gave her through the role. IMHO actors should focus on acting and not on getting political (again true for both left and right) and maybe Disney should consider including a paragraph in their contracts preventing the actors from pushing political agendas in their official social media accounts...
As much as I love his work, this just sounds like a man that can't accept that times change. The cinema he knows doesn't exist anymore, after Covid more than ever.
I get it, I kinda hate how streaming platforms killed music videos (yes I thoroughly enjoyed watching those pieces of art). But whats the use? Just adept and try to take advantage of the new ways...
Game got more hate than it deserved. The late game mechanics were really good, this might still turn to a solid game with more content and more story focus
I understand why people are getting upset by cancel culture, it is taking overhand and seemingly society reacts to whoever whines the loudest. However, I don't think that takes all factors into account.
On the other ahnd I understand Lucasfilm and Disney. Their Actors get a huge platform from them, which boosts the actor's reach on the web. If the actor then decides to use said reach to spew misinformation and stupid af comparisons that makes Disney complicit and they understandably want to avaoid that.
I think the real problem with cancel culture is that the internet gives too many people (from both sides of the political spectrum) too much reach. Consequently there is way too much BS on the web. Maybe Artists should just resort to being Artist and not all be political active on social media. Sure, free speech gives them the right to do so, but they shouldn't be suprised if it backfires at them. There simply is no need for them to do so. And Gina arano could and should have seen the trouble coming from a mile a way. Really really dumb
Great clickbait. As it happen with SP RPGs people tend to move on when they finish. What a surprise. In other news: CP2077 is rated positively by the steam users, so it seems this decline is not a result of the rolling hate train, that GS would love to chip in on
@Fia1: Lol, did you even play it? Yes the main campaign is 20h-30h "short" but it ties in several lenghty side quests. That in turn tie back into the main story. If you complete those your playthrough takes at least 70h+. And that doesn't include even the Gigs and other side activities...
All this content is hella fun. I clocked my first playthrough at ~105h
@joalopes: Great summary. Its already a fantastic game, but some features still need some work.
The AI could really use some help (though it absolutely works to immerse you),
Vehicle collisions at high speed needs to be at least a little punishing, especially on bikes. Right now collision are 0 consequence, you just maw everything down
Walk Toggle for Keyboards
And we really need more apartments
However, people don't listen to whoever thinks those shortcomings make this game bad. Story, questdesign, animation and omg the soundtrack are among gaming's best. Its not perfect, but it still is a must-play and most of those issues can be fixed...
