The problem with this game is that the single player action doesn't translate well to multiplayer. It seems like shooting BIG bugs works with that controlling scheme, but when you're shooting other people the same size as you it's not accurate and fun enough. Truly I think that the multiplayer isn't great, and the camera makes things worse. Of course I will also voice my opinion in regards to the truly awful Lobby system present in the demo; it takes about 8 tries before you can jump into a game. Overall I thought it was bad; not the worst I've played, but bad, particularly when the benchmark for online gaming is COD4.

There is, however, one feature that if translated to COD4 would make it the best game EVER (i know it's a little farfetched, but stay with me) ~~~ Imagine the glory of shooting dudes in COD4 along with the ability to go pretty much anywhere with a grappling hook!!!! I mean it would be ridiculously fun!!!!!...........oh man it would be great, plus it would save many marines in war if they had grappling hooks....

yea you have to add them from the crossmedia bar before you can invite them to a game.... it's kind of annoying but it's what you have to do

I think oblivion was a good game. The thing is I didn't quite see it as an RPG. I don't like RPGs a lot, but I've played a few, like FFX, but oblivion is more like a first person combat game with RPG elements. I like FPS so oblivion was actually a really cool take on the whole genre, and it had enough of a free roaming world for anyone.

alright MY sugestion in this matter, being that i'm probably the only one here who runs linux in a pc, is that you use ubuntu. Ubuntu is the most popular/user friendly linux version available, and they have a ps3 specific build. There are instructions and walkthroughs if you search for them, and they are pretty easy. Just keep in mind it takes some time, because you have to format the hard drive and all. Also if you want to use linux, i suggest you try to install in with an HDTV, particularly because if you try to make it work in a regular TV it will be painful and you'll get pwned. (ANY PS3 LINUX BUILD USES THE HDMI PORT BY DEFAULT, IF YOU WANT TO USE THE A/V CABLE YOU HAVE TO MODIFY IT IN COMMAND PROMPT SCREEN)

I would suggest you install ubuntu 7.10 in your pc and use it for a while, that way you'll know what you'll get for the ps3, and get a fresh view into the wonders of open source code that is linux, which is absolutely free of M$ robbery.

In my opinion i would have to say COD4, simply because there isn't any. If you want to swing your arms around while playing a game (and breaking your TV while doing so) get a Wii. So far the implementation of the sixaxis has been minor, and in reality isn't very flexible. It's just very basic, plus motion controls aren't THAT awesome; they're ok....

for accesories i still think that logitech has the best, in all categories. As far as surround sound, i have an (i dont know) 5.1 surround sound system that was like 60 bucks, and so far it works flawlessly
