I'm 40. I've been playing arcade/computer/console games since I was 10, starting with Pong. I have a lot of friends my age who still enjoy gaming. It's a good way to have fun and blow away some stress.

I've had mine for a month. When I play Gears of War, I've received a few "bad disk" messages, but otherwise it's been fine. A bit noisy, but fine.

Divx support. It's been lacking for too long.

My friend says it will be available on XBox Live. I haven't heard anything about this on any website. Still, we can always hope.

I've heard a rumour about an XBox 360 patch that will allow the console to play divx files through Media Center on XP/Vista. The patch should be available this week. This came from a MS XBox tester. Has anyone else heard about this? Vista recognizes dix files. It would be great of the XBox 360 did too, without having to use 3rd party software.

I bit the bullet and bought one yesterday. I didn't see the point in waiting for an HDMI port what I wouldn't use anyways. As for the larger HD, I have no plans of using the IPTV service.

No regrets.

[QUOTE="sidmeir"]when those this new x-box come out, I wanted to get myself an x-box 360 right about now because I am sick of waiting for the PS3 to finally come to Europe. But now I hear about this new version and I dont know should I get the exsisting one or wait for the Zephyr. What do you guys think.

I've heard the new XBox will be a combination of gaming console and IPTV box, to replace your existing cable/PVR box. Since I won't be getting an HDTV for a few years yet, I might just say the heck with it and get an XBox 360. Been waiting for too long. Besides, by the time the new one comes out, there will be rumours of the nextgen XBox. So really... is waiting that important?
