I agree... what you mentioned is a bad change. It makes no sense to do that. I can't even sort top rated games by genre anymore, which I used to be able to do with the old layout. It makes absolutely no sense to take that away. Everything about this website has gotten worse after the new layout, it's almost unusable now. I definitely won't be coming to GameSpot much anymore... when I do, it'll be for a score and video review of a game I'm interested in and nothing more.

Everything about this website is a mess now... dumbed-down review scores that seem to be catering to newbies and dummies, the awful change you mentioned and many other bad changes. I can hardly even read a review now due to the text not looking good with the background color.

It seems GameSpot now just caters to mobile devices and newbies and the end result is this awful new layout. It looks like any other game website now and not special.

I believe in God. Not only have I by accident astral projected repeatedly, but articles and books I've read later on from psychics definitely fits with the experiences I've had. Also... they say life started from a one cell, but that wouldn't seem to explain where trees and plants come from. I mean... trees and plants grow from out of the ground, not descend from some animal. I can't say I believe in evolution either. If someone asked me, I'd say no I don't believe in evolution. I mean... you can't prove blue birds descended from some other, different species. Even if they did descend from some other, different species, it wouldn't say anything about if some entity put the universe here or not.

I believe you go to Heaven and/or the astral realm(s) after you pass away, and that you often visit there when dreaming (subconscious). You see your family and friends there and know you're all souls and can reincarnate into the material realm to learn more lessons, if you want. I believe it's from the material realm where lessons are learned. Pretty much I believe God created the material realm so our souls have something to interact with other than the spiritual realm.

I'd like to go to church more. I read the Bible at times.

I also get the feeling many young people are just saying they don't believe in God to look cool/think it's the popular trend at the moment. I bet very few would be able to explain what evolution even is. They're too scared to have a distinct view of their own, so they act like what their friends act like at the moment to fit in.

Evolution, liberalism and the gay agenda are being promoted by the media, and many young people do whatever is popular to fit in. An example is... the media told people that they should hate Sarah Palin, and even today, many people out there will claim they hate Sarah Palin even though they aren't sure why. To many young people, it's also not cool to like Miley Cyrus for some reason... so they claim they don't... and again... they don't know why.

I don't think I've seen a movie that is scary. However, certain scenes are creepy. For example... the werewolf scenes in An American Werewolf in London to me are creepy.

In the 1990's remake of Night of the Living Dead, when they're looking out the window at night and seeing the zombies walking by the barn... to me that's creepy. The Return of The Living Dead 1 and 3 has some creepy scenes.

It's extremely hard for me to think of other creepy scenes. Those two little ghost girls in The Shining may be creepy the first time you see the movie.

A good review is an honest review. That's why I like(d) GameSpot so much in the first place. If you read the Halo 2 review, Resident Evil 6 review and many others you can tell it's honest. While IGN gives games high scores that they don't deserve... GameSpot seems (or seemed) to be completely honest, in my eyes anyway. With this new GameSpot layout though... finding and reading a review may be too hard to do. It doesn't help the new layout just gives a game a 7, 8 or 9 and leaves it at that too. The latter method is for newbies and dumb people.

I'd love to see the old GameSpot layout again.

The Xbox One will have 8GB of RAM and five more processors in it compared to the 360. The Xbox One will also have much more storage capacity than the 360, including Cloud storage and other brand new features. It will technologically be a lot more powerful than current gen systems. It's like if you had a PC sitting around that was almost a decade old and you went out and bought a brand new PC that has new, modern parts in it.

If you click the Reviews button at the top of this website... they show you a filter. However, that filter doesn't let you search top rated games by genre. The old GameSpot layout let you do this... but not the new layout. Why? I can't see the top rated first person shooters on the 360 anymore by date, last 12 months, all time, etc.

I agree, it is awful. I haven't visited this website in a few weeks because I know that what I want to see, won't be there. Or at least not easy to find anyway. Why you can't sort the top rated 360 games by genre anymore is absolutely beyond me. Heck... the latter is a major reason why GameSpot was so good. I can barely read the reviews now because the background doesn't look good with the text. GameSpot used to look like GameRankings... it was a simple layout and extremely easy to find anything. Not anymore.

Absolutely. It's definitely the best Resident Evil game I've played. A lot of things make it incredible. For one, obviously a lot of effort went into the game play and graphics. The environments look amazing, rather it be the village, castle or island. The fact there's a village, castle and island all in one game is incredible itself and it rather surprised me when playing it. The feel of shooting the guns is awesome. The Merchant just may be the best part of the game, but a lot of things make it the best Resident Evil ever.

You can try any of the Gears of War games and the original Halo. I think they are both on PC now too... but as far as consoles go... only Xbox has Gears and Halo. It's hard to think of anymore superb exclusives for the 360. If you have Xbox Live, check out the Xbox Live Arcade and Indie games sections too.

In my opinion, don't buy it. I saw the GameSpot and GameRankings scores and watched YouTube walkthroughs of the Halo 4 campaign... and it looked exactly like Halo 3 and Halo: Reach... and a lot of the levels were dark and bland looking. The Halo series has been going downhill after the original Halo.
