Doctor - just because of the immense amount of schooling/time needed to be done and it takes a lot of skill and work to save lives. A soldier obviously is here to protect and save lives as well but its a whole different ballpark.
Right now I don't have 'friends', more so acquaintances. I talk to them when I need something and vice versa. I do have one best friend though that keeps me sane although I don't see her or speak to her a lot. I've come to learn that sometimes having too many friends brings extreme case of drama which is why before I hit college a lot of my friends I had to let go because it's just part of growing up and a lot of them just are not healthy to hang around with.
As long as you are happy in your life with or without friends, then that's all that matters.
