@Sanguis_Malus Although I've bought all my Dead Space copies dirt cheap, I think there are few other names in my calendar that are going to be as buy-at-full-price worthy as Dead Space 3 probably will be. If they continue making the Dead Space franchise as good as the previous installment then there would be noone happier than I.. Dead Space 1 and 2 were so awsome that buying the third without looking at reviews first is a completely sane thing to do.
You are on drugs if you call second game a COD copy, everything about the first game screamed more COD. The 2nd was a big overhaul. Even though all three are quite different to each other, I like them all respectively. Even if they may not have had super epic storytelling in most peoples' views, I liked their stories quite a lot. The voiced storytelling, everything. It makes me sad to possibly never meet the Chimera again. Resistance 3 was and is an underrated and overlooked game, sort of oldskool and modern at the same time, great game!
If they ever come to make a resistance 4 that bears the same quality as Resistance 2/3 I will be glad to pay full price (I usually never do that since I am a big collector on games)
Same about yours. I don't mind women playing violent games, but deal with it or don't. They are not made for women. Period. Women making games is not an issue however they will mostly have to adapt to male gamers needs and cravings or else they will fail miserably.
What will however homogenize the play experience is when nutcases begin to demand certain things to be changed about in games. Don't like sexy dressed women? Don't play the game.
Gender of course comes with different flavours, if you are one of those who consider all sexual orientations and "off-the-road" as normal then those are all normals to you. But regardless of what you or someone else who "want to be in times" regarding sexual orientations and "liberalist" views, playing violent video games is mostly a thing males do. Not women, so who should those games adress to? Of course the male gamers. If women want a violent game for their female comrades, then please make one, but if it doesn't appeal to men, don't expect it to sell well.
Regarding shoving down one's throat, what the **** do you think this whole thing is about then? If 95% of the gamers are men, and most certainly don't mind the situation as is today, what are those few female "gamers" trying to do? ("Gamers" since most females who plays some games are not exactly hardcore gamers..) And what are people with your over-the-top liberalist views trying to do about people who may not share your ideas?

Women may not be born into those things, but a normal path of life is that at least most people of that gender should undertake what is deemed a normal gender role. Not talking about staying home wife and such things, even though that is up to each individual. If everyone was some LGT hippie the world would be in flames, both from their idiotic flag as well as sickening world -view.
If you have such an urge to feel pity for the female gamers, maybe you are gender confused?
Violent games are meant for men, if women want to play them they either adapt to the situation or get lost. Why should everything be made for everybody?!
What a load of bs, gamers are mostly male, so its only natural that it is mostly for males too. If women want their games, go make your barbie games then... Accept the situation or get *beep* lost
