Your review is littered with actual errors and signs that you played this just to be critical, and not to have fun (what most games aim for). First of all, the story skips ahead one month while the duo is imprisoned, so it's only natural they'd learn their name from overhearing the guards and/or conversing with other prisoners. Second, skipping cutscenes? Seriously? You should reconsider your career path, because a gamer you aren't.

I agree in that this isn't the best TPS ever to be created, but it's a pretty damn good one. The story is solid even though some small things are left to the imagination (which is perfectly acceptable), the graphics are just as good as you'd expect from a 2012 game, the music is engaging, the voice acting and sound effects are also both believable and good. Sure, the cover-based gameplay gets boring after a while, but not enough to warrant a 4 out of 10.

It's a solid 7.5, and if it wasn't for its short length, I'd give it a full 8.

And the story blew me away. Near the last part of the game, there's a huge twist I didn't see coming at all, and there are a lot of times where I was taken by surprise by how it proceeded.

Maybe you'd know that if you didn't skip the fucking cutscenes.

I totally agree with the author of this article. The 3DS is nothing more than a gimmicky tech demo, with hardly any improvements over its predecessor, except for the 3D (which is horrible).
