These guys are dumb. How are you going to improve the graphics when your limited by systems that are 6 to 7 years old and out dated? The only real graphical improvement was from COD2 to COD4. COD4 maxed out the system in 2007 and now 5 years later you're talking about improving the graphics? When has not being willing to do something even ever considered a trick? If that was a trick I would be tricking people all the time.
I don't like the 1200 point range because MS exchange rate is unrealistic. 1200points (15USD) = 17.15CAD before taxes ($20 after taxes). The year is 2012 and the US dollar is on par with the Canadian. If this was a retail game for $15USD it would be $15CAD in Canada. If I could buy a US 1600 point card for $20USD then I wouldn't complain. But MS uses different codes and Canadian's have been stuck with 1400 point cards for $20 since the beginning. And they are probably wondering why not every one likes digital. Digital can be very anti-consumer when the company involved controls the currency exchange rates.
This is a very weak lineup. Most of these games will be available for existing systems and some of which are all ready available. I also have no interest in HD party games. Nintendo is going to have to do better than this to get me to buy their system.
I remember how they did this for LA Noire and then came out with the complete edition. No Deal. I'll just wait for the complete edition, though I don't think I want the game anyway.
All gamers wanted to see was a Nintendo system that has the gpu/cpu power to blow the 360/PS3 out of the water. All Nintendo showed was a tablet controller very few gamers ever dreamed to care about. That is why WiiU interest is low. The next gen will likely be like this gen on how Nintendo is underpowered compared to their competitors.
It use to be that computer tech cost too much and an arcade could deliver more tech than what people could afford to bring home. That was the arcade's true advantage. But now the tech is more affordable and on par with arcades. Unless arcades create an experience well beyond the current level of console technology there is no reason for people to really be enticed.
