@damian1977 i was referring to the industry as a whole. i forgot that it should only be gamespot related even if weak tablet sales is affecting the industry. but i totally agree people who goes to gamespot probably have decent tablets and or PC's (i have ipad mini and acer iconia w500 as companion to my 1200p gaming pc) powerful enough to render the site. but hey i consider amd a4, newer atoms and ivy bridge based celerons at 349 to be good enough even for casual gaming and or browsing.
@damian1977 you mean laggy weak tablet sales are exploding, i bet majority of those tablets are kirf single core cortex a8 1ghz with 512mb ram and are laggy as hell. and phones with mediatek dual core and also 512mb ram that china pumps out in billions. they hardly have enough grunt to run gamespots new design. the industry is duped, sadly there is no real minimum...

@rawkstar007 yeah i also miss EGM even if they totally squashed my friends childhood with akuma april fools on resident evil 2.... an idiot friend of mine did finished resident evil 2 13 times back to back, using only handgun and herbs...

oh and while im at it, please hire wholesome reviewers, mindless robots without feelings doesnt cut it. gametrailers has been my go to for reviews for they have consistent announcer that is convincing. good luck gamespot, i hope you have your glory days back and not get similar fate to EGM/1up....

upgraded from 20gb to 250gb on the first week ive bought my launch ps3. i still have plenty of hdd space granted i have most of the psn demos installed on my hard drive (and 6 hard drive eating games like gta4). the speed may not have changed from default but i get lots of storage without spending a fortune. and new ps3 buyers are lucky because they get bigger hdd at lower ps3 price than we paid.
in my scoreboard the ps3 looks slightly better on 3 out of 6 games, equal on MKDCU, the 360 looks slightly better on 2 games! but that doesnt mean the 360 is worse, think of it as ps3 getting a 98.1 score and the 360 gets 98.0! both are great consoles with great graphics capabilities, they looks so much identical its just about how game developers optimized their games that there will be any noticeable difference. most people who will put a comment but only own one of the two consoles will instantly defend their console without even reading/analyzing the article. its amazing that game sites put up such article for trolls and fanboys to enjoy (and or fight over).
dear yoyags, your computer is good but as you can see there are 2 major components in there that didnt meet the recommended spec for AOC:HA Pentium Dual Core is just a rebranded Pentium D, hence this is not as powerful as the Intel Core 2 Duo. And your Graphics maybe able to dish out some DX10 effects but it is just slightly better than a Geforce 7600. It is not as fast and powerful as the Geforce 7800/7900! and since the test uses Windows XP (and you should too) the DX10 capabilities of you GPU is not used at all. thats means your GPU is just the same as a Geforce 7600. and in some occasions the old GF 6800 may even beat your gfx card in raw power. Suggested Solution: upgrade to a core 2 duo or quad and geforce 8800/9800 for maximum experience! PS, your system can run the game at low to medium details, expect lags on heavy areas! and to gamespot, your awesome pc is not that great, how about 9800gx2, 2x 9800gx2 (quad sli) and geforce 280 tri sli? and of course their ATI counterparts! skulltrail 8 core (2x qx9770) anyone?
therefore my 250gb upgrade to my 20gb ps3 is still good. i admit my ps3 is a lil slower these days. and gta4 is no exception! but seeing 400 dollar for only 60gb and not much improvement, now im glad that i opted for larger and cheaper upgrade!
