@YukoAsho Except it's kind of true? 4K is the future in the same way HD was the future and eventually became standard, it's just displays getting better and games being able to be at higher resolutions.
And like always PCs due to not be locked into the same hardware for years will be the first system to get games taking advantage of it.
@tafusoy @xanthan1 @lonesamurai1 No, I'm pretty sure the guy saying the sales of nongaming PCs meaning shit for the PC gaming industry and ignoring how large digital distribution on PC is is the one who is deluded as hell.
All you've done is point out unrelated crap and act like the loss of shelf space due to moving to mostly digital distribution, while completely ignoring said digital sales I might add, spell crap.
@tafusoy @lonesamurai1 There isn't anything symbolic of it except for the lowering sales of nongaming PCs and the switch to digital distribution and those are only symbolic of it if you completely ignoring what they mean and instead delude yourself.
PS. Prebuilt PC's dieing doesn't mean crap, do you know why? Most PCs people buy for gaming AREN'T prebuilts or are prebuilt by a site that buys the parts individually and thus aren't counted in the number of prebuilts sold. The sells of gamign PCs and parts isn't going down, the number of PCs used for business and such are. Learn the difference, you moron.
@GanjaFarmer210 Strategy games, Steam sales, all the additional things a PC can do, modding, your games actually running after you upgrade instead of needing to keep a second system hooked up to play them, and superior graphics.
@SSSTcracka Most people who say anything like that act like it's still about a decade....I think it was a decade? ago, you know, when you actually did need to upgrade every year or 2 to play the newest games at all.
Excuse me for thinking your phrasing of it sounded like much more idiotic tripe.
@GanjaFarmer210 @IncinX @shannybaybay If you need to pay a subscription to get the games they aren't free. Learn what free means and how paying for a service that offers games as a side benefit doesn't make the games free.
@daemonproject @xanthan1 They had a massive backlash that will take years to go away. There's making decisions people don't like, and then there is screwing up like what they did.
