I quite liked S.T.A.L.K.E.R. but its nothing compared to Fallout 1 & 2.

Mind you they are also different games so I suppose that's up to opinion.

I had already read that article but its good that its posted here too. It was a very good read with references and everything so you cant just claim its unfounded as there is some evidence to be found there. I am very worried about fallout 3 but I won't pass any sort of judgement until I see some screenshots or gameplay videos.

Having said that i would recommend you read the article. Its a long and detailed article and is a very good read about the practices of Bethesda.

Not only is it a great game, its also really cheap now and there are still quite a lot of people who play online, both normal and custom made games. you should definitely try it. Even if you don't like it (which is possible, everyone likes different things) its not like it costs much.

i saw it at eb games under the "best seller series" so i assume your wrong lol. alot of people didnt think much of it because of the reputation games based on movies have, how wrong they were though :)

Personnally, I think that the movie was horrible...however as you guys said the game seems pretty good. I didn t try it but I found it difficult to buy a game like that because I have the impression that it might look like the movie. But you all seem to agree that it is a cool game...should I give it a try ?

Yes i would recommend the game. I was one at first that didn't think it would be good. But once several of my friends told me i need to play the game i went and picked it up and i have to say it is quite well done

I would recommend the game as well. been a while since I played it but I do remember that I was surprised because it was actually better than I thought it would be. One thing to look out for though, it is possible to stretch dead enemies for ridiculous lengths (if they get stuck on railings or similar) then let go and they snap back like elastic. Bizarre!

I prefer the CnC Tiberium universe for 1 main reason.
