If you have the money and feel comfortable buying it, why not spoil youself, then again if you're kicking butt with a normal controler, I don't see why anyone would need it , you don't need this fancy stuff to be a pro or become one.

The one thing I can seriously recommend to any Nvidia card owner if they have performance issues like getting the fps of the game up, put the graphic card settings on performance instead of quality, I am with a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT and it did wonders for me,you'll get the full great graphics with a little bit of jagged edges ,but after 5 minutes you really stop noticing, you'll have to excuse me if I am repeating someone that might have given the same advice.
