its a shame. a lot of remakes like star ocean 2 and mario rpg are coming out amazing being mostly graphical updates with a few gameplay tweaks. this could have been like that

An absolute classic. one of the top Mario games for sure. fresh and fun the whole way.

these other characters are ok but nothing feels the same as s1 with the darker themes and Mando being an absolute badass. He feels more like a weak support character now

Just pulled out some classic SNES games from 30 years ago the other day and played them...because I own them

interesting ideas but the original concept of the remake feels kind of like a deception to fans at this point... Also seems kind of like a bad choice to modify a story that was already renowned

I actually liked the old combat system better. You weren't really supposed to even use it. It was more focused on actual assassination than melee and that made it more original to me personally.

Possibly the most immoral game ever pretending to be morally good by no longer being "upsetting" to some groups and inserting a female...

@Destructionzz: the reason is it's generally harder and more tactical. you have to make the right moves like a chess game...easier to do that in a button masher. Although both are easy if you overlevel
