This whole resolution issue is ridiculous. Nobody cared about the resolution of this game until the DF article. And everyone agreed the game was beautiful to begin with. If DF didnt release their article, no one would have noticed.

So can we please stop pointing fingers at the most inconsequentual parts of any game (its resolution) and start focusing on aspects that matter, such as game play, replayability, story, character development, you know,...fun!

@TashunkoSapa: Xamarin,....Technology which makes it easier for UWP apps to be deployed on competitor platforms. So much for creating a Windows Store monopoly.

@brazprince: The dude is worried that games coded using the Universal Windows Platform framework can take advantage of windows features that will only work if you deploy your app on the Windows Store (e.g scaling). He is also concerned he cannot deploy his games through his own store front.

The problem with his argument is simple. Nothing is forcing him to use UWP if he doesn't fit his needs. He can always code his own platform features and deploy his game independently as thousands of game publishers do.

@TristanPR77: Get your facts right. Epic games do not own Gears. Coalition does.
