Precisely. I get e-mails about my updates but the counter is still at 0 even after f5'ing the page. Even after I posted the second time in this topic, I had new updates but no indication that there were any. Just a 0 there. EDIT: Even now, I refreshed my profile page. 1 message, 0 updates. Clicked on the update page and had 6 updates.
I guess you could say it's an existing window. It's open all day in a tab. I'll do one of a few things, I'll either refresh my profile to check for new comments or new blogs from friends and see no updates. Or I'll be surfing the site in general and see no updates. But if I go to updates, there are updates. I guess you could say a new window yields no update number either since i hap updates when i logged in today as well.
For the past few days, when i get new updates, the update number at the top has been stuck at 0. I noticed it yesterday when I got an e-mail update but during the course of my visit to the site yesterday, never saw a number update. The same just happened now. I had two new updates but not notification of it.
according to kotaku it's only running at something like 630p. i thought i was the only one who was seeing the blur and the jaggies. i thought at first i was sitting too close to the screen. who knows.
they should at the very least be deleted. there's a lot of 1.0 reviews on both gta games done by fanboys ovbiously. and it's not just gta but all cross-console games.
basically what it comes down to is that both versions are so close in terms of awesomeness that the only factor for choosing a console should be what your friends will be playing it on. That and if you want the dlc. I'm not jiving the dlc simply cause from what i've been hearing, it's just gonna be either online missions or side missions, though that is only rumor so who knows.
