@arqe @amar1234 @demrocks 1080p/60fps on PC for a decade? Sure, if you're buying bleeding-edge tech non-stop. If you want to buy a $1000 game console, have fun with that. Consoles never have been or will be, top-of-the-line. Having 60fps is a privilege, not a right. Developers do the best they can to make the game look great and still get as high a framerate as possible.
@arqe @amar1234 60fps means you're rendering and writing the screen buffer twice as much, ie; you're rendering MORE. That takes away your options for adding in more geometry, textures, particles, lighting and post processing.
