This is my favorite thing on all of gamespot--since there's no more hotspot :(
Keep up the awesome work and be sure to check out "SHOOTING CHICKEN: Brutal Suckers." It came out pretty recently, and the sound effects on the opening titles is worth it enough!
Indeed. Violence is a crutch for the gaming industry. It would be interesting to see games that try to work a way around it, instead of actively pursuing it.
@Ravenlore_basic I would disagree based on the success and influence of the Xbox Live Arcade, but it's neither here nor there. Appreciation isn't something anyone could quantify. It'd just shoot back and forth.
@finaleve You got the wrong idea here. i don't even own a PS3. This guy, though, Jenova Chen stated that "PS3 owners appreciate art more." It wasn't too long ago either. Just poking fun at the irony ;)
@Tallwhitemocha Every line of dialogue was written by James Gunn, so much so the game's language in every country is English. It's even published by a Western publisher. This game is much more a sign of Western thoughts than Eastern when it comes to the game's subject matter and story.
I'm not one for multiplayer, but I can't argue with what the man says about Vanquish. The fact is the game would have sold much better if they had multiplayer. I don't think it would have helped sell Shadows of the Damned, though.
