i totally agree that the lack of competition slowed down innovation a whole lot but i think this review is a little harsh simply because it's fairly similar to last year. as a stand alone game, i love it.
the mechanics look like they would be really hard to pull off, and made exciting, but the flow and animations look amazing. ramp up the speed and add more "grapples" and you got a solid game. disappointed this never game to light...
gtaIV took everything great about the series and gave it a serious revamp to be more realistic and less gimmicky. the only thing i missed were the amount of Easter eggs and jokes in IV. a good combo of those along with a new city will make my shelf without a doubt.
it looks interesting enough to warrant the 5 second download on my phone and play with it for 5 minutes. they said it's still only for win8, but is the one on google play official?
looks like someone is trying to play catch up with battlefield. o im sorry, are people catching on to the fact you have been rehashing the same game for more than 5 years? if it makes them money, more power to them, but i will be skipping this one.
i really couldnt care less about legends and classic modes. give me a less arcade-y feel, better graphics, and much better animations and user moves. if 2k wants to release a hockey game that AT ALL resembles the last one, they should just save their money and keep making basketball games that no one plays...
why do people still care about this? xbox has better textures and softer colors, ps3 has better lighting/bloom effects, antialiasing, but the contrast is a bit much. other than that, they are very similar. if anyone trades in one of these consoles for the other based on graphics, they are a moron and should just switch to pc games altogether...
