I'm so mad right now...I went to Gamestop today and asked for Silent Hill Homcoming. I was so anxious, I've been anticipating this game like crazy for the past week. So, I ask for Silent Hill and the girl sais it doesn't come out until tomorrow! I am so bloody mad!!! I went to the exact same store a couple weeks ago and asked one of the employees when it was coming out. She told me it was coming out September 30th, end of September. I AM SO ANGRY!!! She said she did'nt even have it. I even went to Target and Walmart, NOTHING. How many of you are lucky enough to have this game?
Most people I know hate Silent Hill, but I have been an avid fan since Silent Hill 2 came out. I can't get enough of it. Dude, I didn't even know until like five minutes ago, but if you preorder the game at Circuit City you get a free pyramid head key chain!! I wish I knew that earlier dangit! I'm gonna try to get one of those keychains tomorrow...
Now Im not normally a rpg player and got bored with Oblivion, but Fallout 3 looks weak.
The movements of your character and the enemys looked real bad. When the guy shoots the enemy with a sniper rifle the guy falls over and then eventually his body explodes. When he shoots with the shotgun and the grenade it looks like its from 5 yr old game. And I know its somewhat turn based but it seems like when he fights the tank he just stands there and takes shots and is too busy lining up shots it just seems like a chore.
Also whats with the environment it looks kinda low grade not alot of shadows, and I dont know doesnt look that great. I dont know I was hoping this was going to be great but I dont get it.
I bought a xbox 360 from my friend for 80 bucks. It was practically brand new, all it did was sit there on his shelf thing and he played Fable once in a while, so he decided to sell it to me because I wanted one and for the price I think anyone in the right mind would buy it. Everything runs fine, EXCEPT it likes to stop working every couple hours because it sais my disk is dirty or damaged (the disk is in flawless condition). Its really annoying, expecially when I was playing Lost Odyssey, and anyone that has played that game knows how annoying it is when your playing for like an hour withouth saving and all of a sudden it just stops. So I can only imagine how annoying it is for you. Why can't they just make a video game system that does'nt destroy itself? WHY!? Its killing me, I love the games, but I hate the system.
If your getting MGS4 just make sure you played the older ones first, I can't imagine what it would be like playing MGS4 without any prior MGS experiance. I say gor for Oblivion, my favorite game of all time. However, my friend said that the game of the year edition of Oblivion has a serious glitch in it, he said that when you becom a vampire you cannot get healed from it because of the glitch. He said he looked it up too and there are no patches or anything to fix the problem. So I would look into that, but if theres a way around the glitch then you should totally get Oblivion, extremely entertaining video game. MGS4 is also insanely awesome.
Its just the demo, because I too downloaded the demo and the graphics were are all grainy and fuzzy. Sounds like you have your stuff hooked up right, thats how mine is set up and all my game looks great.
