@Wogrim

Halo gives you time to think, to improvise and ultimately add variety.

@Syvarth

I do. I didn't get to play Modern Warfare 2 and this is my favourite map on Ghosts.

@Kinguard73 @Suaron_x

I don't understand your terminology. What is a bio?

Is it getting up to feed house plants?

@charlievo Not quite. The Deployable Cover in Halo 3 can't be fired through by its user. It is fair to compare it to the Nano Shield in Killzone: Shadow Fall. Sledgehammer seem to have copied the Grunt's drop pods from Titanfall not the single-person version seen in Halo: ODST. However, having the Assault Rifle have 36 appear on the back of it is a lot like Halo, but then that got most of its ideas from Aliens and Predator, so it isn't as if anyone has truly originated anything. Personally, I'm pleased that Advanced Warfare is a bit more like Halo as lately Halo has become a lot more like Call of Duty, with Halo 4's use of loadouts and ordinance drops breaking with the establish tradition of finding your alternative choice of weapon on the map which helps discourage camping.

Ironic that a game about hacking should be ruined by too much information. Ubisoft got it right when they suppressed the HUD in Far Cry 2 until you pressed Reload. Africa seemed far more atmospheric and the arrivals of the enemy jeeps far more startling when not accompanied by a blip on some stupid radar. Yet, it had a hand held device justifiably in-game for hunting for conflict diamonds, about the only snag was the button was on the wrong side to go well with steering. A patch could still sort all this out in Watch_Dogs, adding a gameplay option so you don't have to be reminded what button to press to get into a car, or operate a lift. Some of us used to play with no instructions at all, pushing coins into Defender until we'd figured out the controls.

@dannyodwyer Reviews almost always spoil the story whilst telling you nothing about how it plays. Just once I'd like to see what the control schemes are like, to hear whether Thrust is awkward in Destiny and makes you feel clumsy, that its UI is intrusive and something more like Far Cry 2's only-show-it-when-you-reload approach would suit it better. Take the opportunity as participants in its Alpha (as I did), to speak up and change it before it's too late. To influence the design of a game through timely feedback, even if that is public doubts, rather than slam the finished product when only patches can subtly tweak it.

I'd like to know whether you can look around your cockpit in No Man's Sky, or if they've stupidly put a whole bunch of important controls on the face buttons so that you can't just pilot with one thumb and glance around with the other.

@vadagar1 I counted 35 mistakes in your post. That's ignoring your assertion that there are millions of people who have died of frustration. You even managed to use 'ur' twice to mean both "you're" and "your".

@oo_yungstar_oo Achievements ruin games. They cescribe a list of activities that would have been more fun to discover were possible for yourself rather than systematically go and mark off on some checklist thought up by a developer who thinks they are witty.

@hystavito @LucentWolf It won't. No building. No multiplayer where you get to see another contemporaneous player. No talk of trading like Elite so far, but it does have resource gathering on the planets - i.e. you scan for blocks of stuff in the cave that opens the Sony E3 presentation video.
