So much money, yet almost no great gamer-games (not party games and more casual games but stuff like Metroid Prime 3 etc) on the Wii, what gives Nintendo?
Well, it's slimmer, lighter, and the PSP design, the pure visuals, don't need to change. Plus, this isn't much of a milking where everything is better on the new PSP Slim, but rather if you are a newcommer, you'd want the slim. :)
If you want good adventure games, you should look into Broken Sword 1&2 and 3 :) The first ones are 2D and the third is 3D but runs fine on a 2,8 ghz, 512 mb ram and GeForce 4600 TI :P
1. Blade Runner - Yeah, the PC adventure game! Really, this was one of those last great great adventure games that really did the movie->game transition well, multi-part ending and alot of ways of proceeding through things, if you made some NPC character mad, he could just stop talking to you and ignore you and you were left with no information and that was pretty new and fresh in the whole adventure game genre. 2. Fallout - Classic game that's one of the few few RPGs that did Post-apocalypse right. It's gory, it's non-censored and it just feels mature without feeling dumb or silly which often happend when a game tries to be mature and grown up. This game just featured a nice skill system, S.P.E.C.I.A.L. and it was just good. The whole game, the story and feel, all great. 3. Flashback - A good adventure game for the Sega Megadrive which was one of the first action/adventures to try out a real sci-fi story. It was interesting and the game had good action parts and memorable places and pretty nice graphics for the Megadrive. This game is just still today a solid action adventure game that is a must for all Megadrive owners. 4. Outcast - A huge success in the eyes of the critics and also I recon it sold pretty well. Extraordinary action adventure game for it's time with marvelous graphics and a incredible score and lot's of fun enemies and you could basicly talk to every person you saw in the game which was really cool when it came out. Although alot of people want a sequel, the company who did the game Appeal, sadly is no more. A true classic! 5. Shogo Mobile Armor Division - Okay, maybe it's just me but Shogo friggin' rocks! Easily one of my favorite FPS and Monolith just shows that a large dose of anime and mechas combined with a solid FPS makes a great game. Shogo also had alot and alot of destructive weapons, they litterally teared up the place pretty good and it just felt massive as you walked around in your MCA, for me this is a classic and one of Monoliths best FPSes, I still pray today that they make a sequel, maybe it's going to happen since F.E.A.R. had some references to Shogo. :) Well, that's my list :)
