In my opinion, I think the next generation FF game will be non-linear with a world that changes through the decisions the player makes. I am saying this because Square has attempted a non-linear approach on FF X-2, that way they can see on what parts they did good on and on what parts they did not good on. This should give them enough experiece for non-linear stories to made for FF XIII. Also, the producer of FFX and FFX-2 is also the producer of FFXIII. And the part about the changing world; sony has shown a tech demo of how a world can change on the PS3, so assuming that FFXIII will be released on the PS3, I am more then sure that this feature will be in the game.

I have to say that I hope that they don't use that feature in a mainstream FF, because it don't fit into the mainstream Final Fantasy games.

It would fit better in a next generation MMORPG instead of a single player story based game.

If game would offer you more options and choices in gameplay that would be good, next-gen Final Fantasy world will be eye-candy I hope because of the better graphics and physics, also developers could make everything they wanted with all the new tools and fast new hardware, just hope the main gameplay style doesn't change, graphics is not more important than gameplay in FF games.

NO! The only time recently there's been that big a defection was rare being bought by MS. But Rare was not a first party. Bungie is a FIRST PARTY. They are owned by Microsoft. Quit asking of Halo 3 will be on the ps3. Its like asking if Burger King will start selling big Mac's

No one knows now, and if they say they do, they're lying. The early dev kits just went out, so all signs point to 2006, not 2005. E3 should give us a clear indicator

Electronic Entertainment Expo. Its held in California, and only open to people with press credentials. Its the big gaming expo there is, and is where companies show off their products. Sony's officially press conference will be held within the first couple days.

No. See, Sony wants to make money off the PSP. If you could play PSP games on the ps3, nobody would buy a PSP, and developers would have no idea how strong the fanbase is, and what acceptable development costs are.

None of the games are related, they all have different stores. (Not FFX and FFX-2, but FFX-2's story is so bad, that you should just do like me and pretend it doesnt exist. Also just pretend like the last scene in FFX didnt happen, and you'll be fine.

9. Will the ps3 cost $500?

NO. Sony's greedy, but not dumb. Anything over 400, 350 really will completely flop. Look at the Sega Saturn. If Sony were to ask $500, people would just move to pc gaming. If you're going to spend that much, you may as well have upgradeable parts
