this behavior is unfortunately not restricted to gamers but is all over the Internet ( just look at any Youtube video).
people often say its because of the anonymity of the net that people get a chance to act out like they do, but I'm really afraid that its the other way around. In real life there are repercussions for acting like total *sshat, so these kind of people have to put on a act of being respectable human being, so that they wont get shunned by the rest of society. Online however, they can show every one there true nature..
yea I see a problem with them focusing a higher number of pixels in the center view.. there should be a high amount of pixels everywhere, because your eyes are not static. Im just glad that someone are making VR glasses with a higher field of view. Hopefully they will correct these problems in the future regarding low resolution and different resolutions in the screen:)
umm. the event is called GDC.. You do know what that stands for right??
A lot of unfinished things are being shown there.
I think its a great step in VR. the problem has always been the field of view and delay in head tracking, but this product seem to take care of both of these things :)
prototypes get shown of at these kind of events all the time, why should they wait until they are ready to ship them to tell developers and consumers what they are working on?? sounds like the stupidest marketing strategy ever.. so good thing you don't have any say in these kind of decisions:)
