Dude, you need to get Horizon: Zero Dawn. It'll be a great piece to your collection, and might end up being your favourite.

I'm still in the first phase; guess I'll keep plugging away. Doesn't help that I just found my first motion-based shrine puzzle (f*cking kill me).

If it's the infamous motion controlled maze (in Hateno I guess?), just unplug your controllers and use the right one to flip the whole maze upside down, let the ball drop, get it to position and paddle awayy!

For the maze, you don't need to unplug your controller or anything. Just trigger the puzzle with the controllers upside down. Like, holding the controller upside down, then press A to start it, then just hold your controllers normally and it's easy peasy. I did that puzzle in one swing.

The game is amazing. As you and others said, it does take a bit to really get going, especially with the beginning "tutorial" ish area. Once you get passed the Great Plateau, shit gets great. Once you go explore the different areas of the map, it's beautiful. It's amazing how much they fit into this game, and how different the areas can be.

People try to hate on it for weapon durability too, but it's really a non-issue. In the beginning I hated it too, but as you progress, there are so many weapons available to you that breaking weapons doesn't matter. It really helps to force you to try different weapons too. I also feel like whenever I'm "saving" a weapon for a harder occasion, that it just sits in the inventory and I never use it. I end up saving it for nothing.

I have a hard time reading through all of that cut out font.

But anyways, I'm pretty hyped for it. Probably not as much as many people are, but I'm still hype.

I really like the game, but to me it feels like a game from like 2015 or earlier. After playing Zelda and Horizon, maybe it's just me but Andromeda just feels dated. I'm not hating on it really, since I'm really enjoying it. Like I wouldn't have been surprised if it was supposed to come out alongside Dragon Age: Inquisition. Maybe I just haven't played it enough yet, but those are my thoughts on it, especially regarding the facial animations. They are super awkward.

I've only done 1 of the dungeons, which was the one at Zora's Domain.

I've done around 30 or so shrines, and have 30-something Korok Seeds. I have 10 hearts and 1.25 of a stamina wheel, meaning I've only upgraded stamina once.

Basically I'm just powering through hearts trying to get the required amount of hearts in order to lift up the Master Sword. Then I'll start going for stamina.

We got the read error 150-1031 always. Just got a new Disc 2 days ago and this one works fine. No issue so far (5 - 6h played)

==> talthough the discs looked fine, there was an issue with it

I wish I had that issue. I tried 2 discs and a digital version with no luck.

I think it might be an issue with your Switch.

I always put the Joycons back onto the Switch while it's in Sleep Mode and haven't had any issues.

Yeah, so basically after all my Wii U issues, I found a Switch somewhere, bought Zelda again and have been having a blast.

Obviously, I found out eventually that the problem was my Wii U. Since I tried 2 different disc copies, and a digital copy, all of wish crashed in an hour or less. A few times it took less than 10 minutes to crash. Reformatted a couple of times, re-downloaded/installed the update and the game multiple times, even went ahead and played without an update. All of which crashed regardless of how I went about playing it.

So now, I have a disc Wii U copy of Zelda, and a digital Wii U copy, plus a Switch copy. I'm going to phone Nintendo soon to explain to them my situation and probably get a refund on the digital, then sell my Wii U disc copy. I'm mostly just tired of having to deal with all of that and now with the Switch it's been all good. Although getting through the first area over and over and over again has been horrible. Once I get passed where I initially was I will be having a ton of fun again.

1.5 is not 2

where did i say two?

I'm not the guy who you're quoting, but your title says "almost 2million". $1.5million is pretty far off from $2million.

But, I don't think they shipped that many units.
