No one is born knowing how to put together a computer. 

For a computer it's not bad. I've seen it in action at Bestbuy store. I don't particularly like the case, feel kind of cheap. come with Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro Heatsink I think.

For the price, it's a ***ing rip off. Buy all the parts, get a friend or someone you know who's a little bit advance, pay them 100$ or something and ask them to put it together for you.

For 2000$ you better have:

Case: 100$

Ram: 130$ (2Gb DDR2 6400 or higher, not that 5300 crap)

CPU: 310$

motherboard: 130$

Video Card: 8800GTX : 550$

Power Supply: 120$

hard drive: 100$

Keyboard, mouse, dvd-burner, all other crap: 150$

Alot better in spec and performance already and you still have 400$ left over for operating system and a nice 22" widescreen LCd.

As a computer: 7/10

Price/performance ratio: 2/10

Well I in no way intended to sound like I was bragging...but I get so dang tired of PConly fanboys dissing consoles and shooters on them...When you are like me and many others and have been on top or even played them for years on PC and consoles....they are all great and have pros and cons on both sides...

One is not better for everyone and that is what I try and get through peoples heads...We are humans and we can adapt to whatever is put in front of us....You CAN get as good with a controller as you are with a m/k...

WoW is a very condensed game. You can get from one town to the next in a few minutes. The time it takes to cross the whole contient is around an hour, if that. (I never was bored enough to try and run from the south to the north)RahnAetas

The worst walk in the entire games only occured if you are a NE (the Ironforge walk that is). Other than that getting around in WoW is a piece of cake.

I agree WoW does get more popular because of the easy factor.  But FFXI sometimes is too frigging painful, unessesary painful, to play, even the leveling process.

um. well i just went to turn on my ps2(slimline) when i realised the it was already on(it was on standby/red light on watever tats called).so i freaked out considering that i last played it two days ago and i never leave it on like that for more than 4 hours so i was sh!t scared.but i kept my cool and just popped in my ffXII and it just didnt work.that pink screen came where it said put a ps2 cd or watever.that happened like four times.then i switched everything off.disconected all the cables etc and looked at my ps2 .after opening the cover/lid(whatever its called) i saw that the brown strip(shaped like a L which is between the circular thing in the middle and the laser at the back)had come out meaning, it wasnt flat like it used to be.i also realised that laser thing had come downwards near the circular thing in the middle.that scared me even more.so i pushed that laser thing back where its supposed to be and tried a game.nothing.this time the browser screen appeared and the controller was like completely unresposive.like it was dead.so i just gave up.1 hour later i tried it again and my game worked.i turned it off just in case cause i wanted some ones opinion fromt this site(got alot of useful advice her b4).has this ever happened to any one where that brown strip "comes out"?? id really be thankful for any useful advice or suggestions as this is my new ps2.got it in march .had an old one from 2002.im really sorry for the lame terminologies used like brown thing etc but i really didnt want to look into its official "name".anything i should do.? because it would really be depressing for my new ps2 to just die like that.

P.s:i dont know how i could be so dumb to leave it on for a whole day and a half.i usually care for my consoles really well.

The "brown" strip is the laser cable, connect the laser to the motherboard. Usually it was sticked to the bottom with some kind of weak glue.

The laser lens is supposed to be able to slide up and down on the track, so even if it is positioned near the spindle it's not the end of the world. When the laser lens move down, the "brown strip" is supposed to  bend a little bit. As long as it doesn't break or have any tear it's normal.

It's possible that your ps2 was overheat and automatically shutdown. If that is indeed the case then just unplug everything and leave it for hour or so and everything will be fine.

Your brown strip is fine, it's completely normal.

If it's a slim model, keep it vertical if you have a stand, it does help a little bit with heating problem.

It's not major crisis yet, i've seen worst :))
