@Hugosboss The fight wasn't fake at all, Chaox being kicked off the team, by Regi proves this The phone thing was product placement, but I really think that if their original intent was to show the processor, then there are a million different ways that don't involve breaking an expensive phone. I think the phone got broke just like he said, but then they decided to show off the processor, a broken phone isn't a good thing for any companies.
@hawaiiboii Regi owns the team, he acts like he can be replaced as easily as anyone else, but that would require him removing himself. Chaox didn't deserve to get kicked, but he's better off without TSM, simply because of Regi, Regi throws games all the time, but he never gets called out and threatened for it like he does to everyone else.
@Revolution_DDM I've played console games for a long time, since the original NES, and I have never even attempted to pirate a game on a console, I know it's possible, but I also know that the vast majority of people who actually DO pirate games on consoles.......can't go on the internet with those pirated games.... So already you have this HUGE drawback to pirating games on console, in addition to the fact that you can't just download some things, install them, and then play, you have to physically alter the hardware! The number of people pirating on console is very low! And yet again, video game companies are treating every single one of us like criminals, all because of a small number of ACTUAL criminals.
I don't know when it will happen, but there will come a point where gamers, as paying customers, will stand up for themselves and say enough is enough. I don't know anybody who would put up with being treated like a criminal from an entire industry, except gamers. I went to visit my mom a few weeks ago, and asked her how she'd feel if her utilities, power, cable, etc. any of these companies that she pays for, treated her like she was stealing from them all the time. Or how she would feel if every time she walked into the grocery store, they acted like she'd been stealing for the past 2 years while shopping there, and she was very clear that she wouldn't let that shit fly. I mean, normal people do not put up with a company that they don't have to be buying shit from, treating them as if they're criminals! Microsoft might learn this next generation, that you can't treat an entire customer base as though they are criminals, without them going with another company. Xbox isn't the only available option this coming generation, and between forcing me to have a camera in my living room/bedroom, and then having that camera always connected to the internet, the choice is going to be very easy with which console I want..... The one who can film my room and send it to the internet 24/7, or the one that has "social media implementation".....
@dswyaed24 That's not the point, 99% of the time my internet is working, and my 360/PS3 are connected, but my internet does go down, it's rare, but it does. And when it goes down, my computer becomes worthless, the way things currently are, so I turn to my consoles, which do not stop working when the internet is down.....Having a console that stops working when my internet goes down is unacceptable, there are a TON of great single player games, that have nothing to do with the internet, there is no reason my system should tell me I can't play these games unless I'm on the internet.
I loved my 360 this generation, much more than my PS3, however I hated the original xbox, and I don't think it'll be too much of a loss to say goodbye to xbox with the next generation. My decision won't be made until I'm in the store, with my money, deciding which console to buy, but Microsoft seems like they're trying to make the decision easy for us, which dis definitely a different route than they took this year, where it was an actual choice between PS3 and Xbox 360.
@pmamba45 A cable box comes to mind. We rent a cable box from the cable company to watch/record tv, we don't own the box, just like we don't own the programming on it. We're being told more and more we don't video games we buy, nor do we own the consoles we are buying......And yet we're being charged large amounts of money for both these items, and are now being told that we have very specific circumstances under which we can use them?
If any of this crap ends up being true, I will be done with xbox, and I've preferred my 360 over my ps3 for the last 5 years.
@thenephariouson These rumours are sounding more and more like purposeful leaks from MS to prepare people for these shitty features. The more rumours that come out and claim "always online" the less people will actually shit themselves when they do the reveal, and make "always online" an official announcement.
@xgraderx Because these rumours are coming from increasingly legit sources, and these rumours are devestating if they turn out to be true. THIS is why people are going crazy.
