The 40 GB model doesn't have PS2 compatibility. So can you wait for a larger HDD and a copy of MGS4? If you want PS2 BC you need a 20 GB or 80 GB model or the now discontinued 60 GB model (best). AFAIK there has been no official announcement about PS2 BC on the MGS4 bundle. It could end up just being a 40 GB model with a bigger HDD.CellAnimation
