does anyone know if the scaling in the update includes downscale of 1080p blue ray to 720p?

if on a stick put it in a folder called VIDEO and they should appear. other wise hit triangle and select display all

not sure about sharing on a network but you can just burn the files to dvd, pop it in the ps3 and press triangle on the disc to bring up the option to copy to ps3.

im starting to lose faith. love my ps3, i sold a 360 to get it but most games are ports and they run so badly it really looks like the console is finding it difficult to run them. i hope i havnt been caught up in hype. is the ps3 really that powerful? rfom is a great game but its not blowing me away technically. gt:hd seems the best example of the power so far. does anyone have any other good examples?

you dont need a wifi network if thats what you mean. the psp will connect directly to the ps3 (on the 60gig version)

Hi People, Can anyone suggest a good avi to PS3 file converter? I have tried a few but they don't seem any good to be honest. I'm trying to find one that will convert to the same quailty of the original avi file. Does anyone know know if the PS3 accepts other file types or just mp4? Thanks!!
