@streetmagik: I don't want to start a political battle, but to be fair, the left side of the aisle has used "alternative facts" or propagated news stories based on false information for a while now too. This is nothing new.

That being said, this dude was really just looking for a rise out of you, which he got.

@petek480: Wait, so a few interviews here and there are telling you that he's not working on the game? I'm guessing his interview/appearance to work split is probably close to 95/5 in favor of work, and he probably works a lot more than 40 hours a week.

@exynoa: You're the most sensible, respectful guy on the internet, I swear.

Nioh looks pretty fantastic and I'm super excited for it. I can only imagine that playing at 60 FPS is the difference between life and death. And all of the other games you mentioned are games I fully intend to play, so hearing they get a huge boost in performance makes your case even more compelling. I wish I knew someone with a Pro to actually go and test it out, but your testimonial here is probably the next best thing. I'm really about to fall off the edge in favor of the Pro at this point.

@exynoa: Okay, now this explanation I can get behind. I appreciate you taking the time to thoughtfully make a case to jump in. I asked basically the same question over at IGN and pretty much got laughed out of the comments section. "You'll never notice a performance upgrade with the Pro over vanilla PS4, get a PC instead." That sort of thing. But I'm interested in sticking with PS4 and not switching.

Your comment put me back in the camp of leaning toward the upgrade.

Okay, so I have a launch PS4 and a 4k tv with no HDR support (it was bought before HDR was standard). I've been strongly considering the upgrade to PS4 Pro, but can't decide if I'll get enough of an upgrade to justify the $400 price tag. Anyone in a similar situation or have opinions on the matter?
