I agree. Also, the Wii burned a lot of 3rd party companies and they are just not going to take that chance with the Wii U. The Wii sold a lot of systmes but 3rd party games didn't do well even the ones that were good. I am sure that they are saying "Not this time, Nintendo."
This report is really saying is that they are going to lay off 15% their staff and make the others work harder while the upper management pockets the profit of the they canned. This is the same old story of the big fish eatting the little fish. I feel sorry for the people who are going to lose their job. It is a shame.
Yes, that would be great because they are going to need new IP's for their new system. MS has very few IP's to call their own, they need to start taking chances with making something new.
I don't care much for list. Nintendo made a list before the Wii U launch of 3rd party developers they had with Wii U kits and it has not amounted to much right now. How many on this list has games in development right now and how many just have kits? That is what I want to know.
This talk from the company that has not changed it's basic formula for games since the made the NES. Don't get me wrong, Nintendo games are fun but their games don't really give you exeperieces that you can't anticipate.
I think she is counting those games because I don't hear of a lot of females lined up to play the next big action game or sports games. I would guess that females play games that are not like Farmville or Angry Birds would be less than 1% of hard core gamers. It will stay that way until most females stop thinking that games are childish.
This is just bull. He just wants to cast the blame away from the NRA to videogames. I have not heard of any proof that the shooter even played videogames but there is proof that he knew how to use guns he used to kill using them at a shooting range. This is sad when you are trying to avoid the real problem: you need to stop having guns so easy to get.
@Kenshin0011 I know M rated games have been on Nintendo's consoles but they have sold poorly even the ones that got good reviews. This is why Take Two is taking a wait and see view to this. If the M rated games sell good they will get devment kits. If not, they didn't waste any money.
