Can the thread starter temporarily and carefully stop the fan with his finger to see if it is indeed the one which is noisy?

DarkUltra

It could be his flux capacitor causing the noise from his GPU from July 1st, 2007.

Maybe they are under some sort of agreement with Nvidia since they also market their cards. My board came with all kinds of sli+physx links, but don't think it came with anything for CF, and I've read I would need to do the same thing as you to get it to work. Asus includes that long CF bridge with their mobos, but they also market ATI cards. BeavermanA

Nice rig mate. The default bridge connector is a about a half inch short of reaching the second card on mine. I checked other forums and a guy needed a to buy a long flexible bridge for slots 1 to 3 on his EVGA x58 Classified 760 board as well.

It spans 4 slots the standard crossfire bridge isn't long enough. I had to order 10cm long crossfire bridge from ebay. It's crossfire capable also it's in the motherboard manual on how to setup crossfire and the cards detect.

I ordered another 5850 to crossfire with my Evga P55 LE board and when I get it all hooked up the crossfire bridge isn't long enough to reach the second card. Evga is retarded for not giving a longer crossfire bridge with the motherboard when you buy it. I had to order a longer one from fleabay.

If you're getting a core i7 I would get a power supply with an 8 pin.

You can add another fan on the other side to put it into a push/pull to get better temps.
