Hi, I have an internet issue that I just cant quite get my head round! I'm with Talktalk and have a Huawei HG520b router, i'm connecting wirelessly to it. I've been told that the router has problems when using DHCP and causes searches to be redirected, so I've given my computer a static IP.
My computer is using the opendns dns codes: primary 208.67.222.222, secondary 208:67.220.220
Like i stated im connected by a static IP, and on the options for my router i have set it to a nailed up connection so it does not disconnect for being idle. I'm using wirless channel 1, I've also unticked the IPV6 box, and turned off the power management settings in the adapter settings, and updated my wireless adapter. But still, after doing all this, my internet connection is never reliable, I cant work out what it is thats wrong, in the bottom left corner it still shows be as being connected but when I try to load websites theres nothing, just continual loading. The times when its most noticeable is if i'm using the radio on my laptop, it just stops playing, and thats how i no the connections been interrupted. That says sometimes it goes hours without being used. My main internet browser is Google Chrome, i do have others available for use but they are also having the same problems. Any suggestions would really be great, i'm all out of ideas!

Hi, lots of the time when i use 4OD or ITV player the show I'm watching randomly stops playing, and the full screen disappears, it goes back to the programme info page. Then when i press 'play' it doesnt play from where the problem happened, the show resets. It gives no warning as to when the problem will happen. The show just randomly stops. The problem does not happen with BBC Iplayer, only with 4OD and ITVPlayer, just wondering if this has happned to anyone else, or if anyone is able to help? Thanks alot.

Hi, I've got a ps3 and no HDTV's, so this post is just completely about connecting it via scart.

My ps3 is always connected to the tv in my bedroom, and when its on 4:3 the XMB always looks very zoomed in and too big, but, i've been using it like that anyway, and when its on 16:9 it looks to zoomed out.

Earlier on today i connected the tv to a different room in my house, and the display automatically went to 4:3 but the display looked so much better. But i have no idea why. It didn't look zoomed in at all, and it just all looked generally better. I realised that on display output resolution it says 576i, and i dont think it says that when its connected to the tv in my bedroom. But, i dont no how to change it so that it says 576i. Both TV's are different makes, but the same size, and they can both display the same resolution. I need to put the ps3 back in my bedroom soon, but do you no how i can have the display settings so that it looks the best, or if there is anyway to make the ps3 use the same display settings that it uses in the other room of my house. Hi, i have a 250gb slim ps3 and i have buzz the music quiz (ps3) and i use the wired buzzers with it. I'm just wondering if i can play the Ps2 Buzz games on the ps3 (like you can do with singstar) thanks alot for your help!

Man.. this reminded me of my freshman year in high school 5-6 years ago. I brought home a progress report right before christmas and I had a damn D on it. My dad took me for a drive to all these stores and made me stand there next to him while he returned ALL of my christmas presents. Worst christmas EVER hahaha. I brought it up to a B but I didn't get those presents back. I like how now I can look back and laugh about it though.

hi, ive had metal gear solid 4 for a long time now, but ive never gone online with it coz it always says it has to do a realllllllllly long download. Im just wondering, do people still play online??? As i dont want to have to wait for some huge download if theres then going to be no one online anyway. Thanks for your help!

u sound like whiney 5 year old. if you are old enough to get a job, then get one and buy a ps3 ur self. if you not, dont whine because ur grades are bad and u daddy thinks u dont need a ps3. my parents never bought me video games, i bought my own SNES, N64 when i was in jr and high school and my parents had nothing to say. i also had a car/job at 16 and realized early that if you want something, then u cant rely on someone else to get/do it for you. da_chub

To be fair they did say that it was their own money, and not their dads money. It does kind of raise the question of 'Why don't you just go out and buy one then?' But yeah wait till after christmas.

Hi, just wondering if anyone else was having a few PSN issues? It took me for aaagggggggeeeesss to sign in. its being kinda laggy and it keeps on disconnecting me from media server! From what i can tell theres no maintenance going on. If anyone else is having these problems, or if anyone can help, please post!

Hi, when i go online on uncharted 2 the message of the day is 'UNKNOWN STRING' and loads of the options on the online menu have been replaced with 'ONLINE STRING' I play online alot and this is the 1st time its ever happened! If anyone can help then thanks alot!
