Sucks, but it shouldn't be shut down too long, people seem to be getting past it pretty quick. Season 2 wasn't quite as good as season 1, but I still enjoyed it. Hopefully since filming is being done now, we'll get it this winter or in early 2023. Bring back the excessive nudity also haha.

@jinzo9988: Yeah who knows, I don't remember a bunch of microtransactions in the last Forza Motorsport, but I don't usually pay attention to them anyways and it's been awhile since I booted it up.

Some below are expressing they grew board or did not enjoy it as much as the first Hot Wheels expansion in FH3. I understand it's a preference thing, but I disagree. FH3 Hot Wheels was definitely a highlight for a long time, but it did have it's problems, mainly with car interaction with walls and bouncing over the edge of things, falling off mid race. While it comes off a bit more safe, a lot of that has been resolved in this Hot Wheels expansion. I think it's fantastic.

My only complaints is it appears to be plagued by some of the old glitches from when FH5 launched when in a convoy. Sometimes your convoy members are invisible, you start a race and you are both racing, but not visible on each others tracks. It's strange. The progression isn't too bad until you have to go back through all of it with a buddy lol, but it does give you a reason to look at some of your unused cars and upgrade them as high as possible in that class.

Otherwise, I think the Hot Wheels expansion for FH5 is definitely superior in almost every way.

@illegal_peanut: Xbox Series X has become pretty available on Bestbuy.com. Still shows it as available now for my location and I bought one weeks ago.

@ghostspartan: Eh, you just have to put Forza Motorsport 1 or Forza Motorsport 2005 and it will bring you to the correct game. There are still some cool things that game did it took them several games to get back too, like night races.

@arishok124: It's all about extending the revenue streams over the games lifetime these days. As much disdain as there appears to be for that on the internet, apparently tons of people pay for microtransactions in numbers that are very profitable. Not sure where the disconnect is.

Man, both of Xbox's Forza teams are just powerhouses. Turn 10 and Playground game is always pushing the envelope and topping their last effort. Forza Horizon 5 is a masterpiece and I fully expect this Forza Motorsport to be same. I'm glad Xbox game them the extra time they needed for this project.

It's unfortunate that threats, swatting and other stuff really seem to be on the rise lately. I'm not for advocating more surveillance on people by companies or government organizations, but I will say when these people are caught, they should receive harsh punishment.

First game was a legitimately wonky game that just happened to go viral. I'll be interested to see if they have actually put out a good game while keeping some intentionally bad stuff in it.
