@barcaazul: Basically explorative platforming with weapons combat. The phrase has really been overused recently.

Or the more verbose answer :

Metroidvania games generally feature a large interconnected world map the player can explore, though access to parts of the world is often limited by doors or other obstacles that can only be passed once the player has acquired special items, tools, weapons or abilities within the game. Acquiring such improvements can also aid the player in defeating more difficult enemies and locating shortcuts and secret areas, and often includes retracing one's steps across the map. Through this, Metroidvania games include tighter integration of story and level design, careful design of levels and character controls to encourage exploration and experimentation, and a means for the player to become more invested in his or her player.

Cool, I'm down to wait a bit longer if the can implement it well. I'll be interested how they change the game. I've enjoyed it quite a bit myself.

@Atzenkiller: It was one of the biggest complaints for the game, no direct story and no NPC's to interact with. Honestly the game is still pretty active. I was on about two weeks ago regularly interacted with other players.

Those swollen fists look really odd haha. I know that's weird to say considering there's a giant green bodybuilder man and a robot suit guy, but the character flow is off on the this Kamala Khan character. She looks fine without the big fists, but I dunno, just weird. Game's graphics look incredible though.

@Bread_or_Decide: By all measures, the Xbox One X did increase One console sales. The initial launch was better than MS anticipated as well. Seems to have been a point everyone honed in on with PS4 vs Xbox One as well, 720p memes anyone? Dreamcast isn't really relevant to that argument because the PS2 came out two years later and crushed it, because of graphics and the whole DVD player thing. Before the PS2 launched, it seemed Dreamcast was going to make some waves.

Anyways, there has always been a market for those willing to sacrifice graphics for mobility. The Switch has an advantage of being a fairly capable handheld gaming device comparatively speaking. Just like PC gaming offers players the ability to maximize their horsepower.

@Bread_or_Decide: I get what you're saying, graphics aren't everything, but when you buy a Switch, you are already accepting the loss in horsepower as part of the deal. I agree gameplay is key, but I don't want next gen to look like PS2 either.

@livedreamplay: True about the Switch, it does take up two different markets.

Regarding the X, MS knew it wasn't going to sell like the S model, however they did see a marked growth in their console sales after the X was released. The also said the Scarlette is inspired by the X's performance based build.

I'm excited to see what the next gen brings regardless.

@Baconstrip78: I'm not so sure. The conditional agreement that Hong Kong and China came to so they would become part of China again is being violated. So I think maybe those in Hong Kong have a reason to be upset and the only way to fight that is to resist it. It's like a US State fighting against the greater Federal Government because they want to crush State Laws in favor of their own.

The problem is, as far as I'm aware, there is no Supreme Court to bring that case for them to rule on separately outside of the Chinese state and Hong Kong, so the only resolution is to resist until terms can be met by both parties.

Blizzard can do what they want, but putting out a verbose response when, 'Yeah we have a huge customer base in China, so we have to be careful with that.' would have sufficed. However, as they are a public company, they are subject to public scrutiny.

@attirex: Haha, I'm not outraged, only because I've come to expect this stuff as of late.
