I was searching hoping to find something by Paradox, the makers of Hearts of Iron 3, but looks like most of there stuff is Europe-centered, not much feudal Japan at all.juden41

Their next expansion to Europa Universalis 3 is going to be Japan-centric it looks like. Divine wind I believe is it's name.

Do You Personally think its worth getting back into right now?

How are Warriors in the Current state in the game out of curosity?

Any Major Changes to the game been going on the past couple months?

Whats the Current Fastest Leveling Method for a Warrior? Last i played was when the whole group finder thing started i was kinda diggin that

What changes are even coming in cata as far as balance and content goes? I really haven't kept up to date with WoW at all lately besides a Giant Dragon, lore-breaking nightelf mages, some happy go lucky Werewolfs, Horde Midget classes, and them setting the starting zones on fire is about as far as i know

Is Playing Horde really that dramatic of a diffrence than playing alliance? because, i never have and was thinking of maybe could roll with some friends over on horde and see the other side of the game this time around if i decide not to level the space goat

1. I recently came back myself and say it is absolutely a better game than when I left, which was in march.

2. I've not played a warrior at 80 but have leveled one to fifty. From what I've SEEN at eighty they're a very impressive class.

3. Well, as others have already said there have been huge changes to the game. I'm a fan of just about all of them. My personal favorite is the change to talent trees. At level 10 you select your talent tree you want. This selection gives you both passive abilities (such as dual wield specialization for Fury warriors.) and an ability for use immediately (such as Mutilate for Assassination Rogues)

4. It's up to which you prefer. If you like tanking, spec prot and go through dungeons since you will immediately get into groups (though I get rather bored running the same dungeons 30 times) Or, you could spec fury or arms (I liked Fury) and do quests. Right now, all classes do insane damage so monsters can be taken on in huge numbers. Which of course makes quests a breeze.

5. I'm not sure of the myraid of balance changes they're making to the game come The Shattering but in terms of content I know the whole old-world is getting completely re-worked, meaning new quests, new monsters and a new feel (I'm pretty stoked). Yes, alot of new race and class combinations are being opened up (Troll Druids :D).

6. I play both and it's not huge in terms of gameplay but it's all new zones for you to quest in as well as a different feel to the NPCs and cities. Though, with the shattering only like 2 weeks away it'll be new zones for you anyway.

I'd wholly recommend coming back and if you do in the next few days, be sure to check out the quests for Cataclysm (located in Stormwind and Ogrimmar) before they're gone.

Edit: Skipped a question, whoops.

I remember an old game that I've heard of where your guild takes over cities or has their own cities and can raise the prices of goods and stuff in their cities but other guilds can come and conquer your cities.. I can't for the life of me remember what game it was.. SLUSHiNaToR

I really wanna say that was Shadowbane or Lineage II. Shadowbane's no longer around, but I know Lineage is.

To the OP, Lineage is supposed to have massive keep sieges, though I'm not sure if it's a guild system as I've never tried it.

Age of Conan, like you said, seems to have what you want. I played that briefly near it's release and got rather bored with it, though it's apparently improved with it's new expansion.

A tough one is EVE online, very much a love it or hate it game. It also takes place purely in space-ships so I'm not sure if you're into that at all.

Hope any of that helps.

Those $20 giftcards make it too tempting to pass up a game like this, and I want to use that for Alan Wake next. Does anybody know if you can stack Amazon giftcards, because I'm pre-ordering Mario Galaxy 2 to get an additional $20?

I'm pretty sure they do. Cards I've gotten in the past all just applied to your account when you entered the code.

It can depend on my mood, but in general I like the story-driven games like RPG's that feature character growth and expansive story lines. I guess if I had to point out a reason, I would blame it on my lifelong love of reading.

If you like strategy games, have you ever tried Final Fantasy Tactics? It's an old Playstation game, but it's a ton of fun and the story is great.

I have actually. Was one of those games I got simply because it was a bargain and ended up playing it to death. Got the newer PSP one, (can't remember it's name) for work trips, thought it was fairly good but didn't get sucked into it the same way I did the other. Don't know why to be honest.

As the title says, why do you like your favorite genre?

For me, I first started playing strategy games after a car accident left me unable to move much or use my left arm. Prior to then I'd been playing shooters fairly exculsively. When I mentioned to a friend that I was trying to find games that could be played with only one hand, he lent me most of his strategy collection. I found that my favorite aspect of those games was the planning and then improvising when that plan goes awry (which in my case it always does). Even after I regained the use of my other hand I still played strategy to the point where I rarely play much else besides Company of Heroes, Men of War, or Supreme commander.
