Dante's Inferno: Yep, arena challenge creation with optional co-op.

CoO Persian King: I did beat him, but wanted to do it without taking any hit. Also, trying to get the exploit timing right.

BoC have been such a signature weapon, am wondering if Sony SM have the balls to make a game where we don't use them much [or at all].

I was expecting a Vita release, unless it turns out to be a PS3 and Vita release.

P.S. Travelling stateside for next couple months. Should be able to get back my GoWIII and GoW Origins discs back. CoO NUR+ is still stuck at Persian King.

EDIT: What about Multiplayer? There were rumors about Sony SM hiring for MP well before rumors of this one started. A Dante's Inferno type arena - Spartan Training Grounds?

OS: Olympic Slash. It leaves a core with lesser Bane usage and definitely has i-frames, haven't tested to see if it can cancel Wraith's grab attack.

NUR on first VH: Just something am gonna attempt, mostly boils down to not upgrading weapons till am sure I need an ability that next level gives [e.g. counter, spirit]

Wraiths: No bounce or launch...  noted. AoS ranged attacks do work well enough, just need to be good enough with baldes to get through them before I get AoS.

What sort of stats costumes offer in GoS? I believe there is a GK costume, works like GoWII?

Just messing around with GoS and CoO, mostly arena in GoS. Weapons fully upgraded, but it is more about enemy AI. Like GoWIII, will aim for NUR on my maiden VH run.

While doing the challenges discovered the awesomeness of OS. i-frames and leaving cores with TB should make things easy.

Any reliable strats for Keres Wraiths?

^double-d was talking about something that *can* be pretty hard but rarely is. I think it was Diekoff Heiss but you can never be sure with double-d.

LARGE hitbox: Oh yeah, that was something that I found out in the demo itself. Castillo and Greyon are only ones who seemed to have larger hit box than visually apparent, though in case of Castillo it was only towards bottom middle of the "arena".

Instant Shock: I try to stay behind as much as possible, cores come in handy to gain advantage of position. They shock only in front, right?

I believe the furry thing is "Dredge of Boreas". More like serberus, but face design looks more like a Minotaur. Destroyed him second time around though.

Greyon: Only trouble is when they teleport from off screen. If you see them "appear" you're already to late. Those Harpies were a pain. Again, it is camera and Greyon blocking view that causes bigger problems. TB Cores came in handy.

Oh yeah, I too struggled with checkpoint. What I did was, go all the way back to previous area after opening the door and then come back. Voila... no more opening the door again and again and again. Just waltz through and fight. I don't think I would've managed if I had to watch the door opening again and again.

Leaping around: So trick is to stay airborne to avoid attack from Hoplites, waiting for an opening to HC/OS/Grab Harplings? I think I was making the mistake of rolling around.

Edit: Anymore such annoying fights? I've noticed I tend to die/lose-health anytime a new enemy shows up. Barely managed to beat the one that looks like cross between a Minotaur and blue furryguy from Monsters Inc.

Really struggled at that fight with Fire Harplings and Armored soldiers. Enemies that can't be grabbed till armor is broken [which takes time] coupled with enemies that can't be blocked parried. Most deaths came from dodging to avoid a harpy bomb only to be attacked by soldiers, or being attacked right after grabbing a harpy. I can handle enemies attacking mid-grabs. But not when they attack from off-screen. With so much crap going on, it is tough to work on the tactic.

Finally realized I need to get rid of Harpies first as spawning newer armored enemies is recipie for fail. It boiled down to wait for 2-3 harpies to bomb, followed by HC on Harpy that works like a altOH. Died a lot. This fight again highlights how great a job Sony SM did with GoW 1-3. There is nothing rad about RAD. Another developer that goes into the crap-list.
