@mesome713: No cod isnt a tactical game in my opinion. I just thought splatoon had a lot of potential with the ink coverage and being able to hide in the ink. Using cs as the example here communication leads to plays that sometimes the enemy team doesnt expect cause its off the wall. Stuff like that just adds a little more depth to the game and adds to its lifespan
@the_funyarinpa: There is extra levels of depth when you play the other events, but for the Demo you only get to try Turf Wars, its a begineer type event.
I own the game you know...
Im not saying there isnt a strategy to doing well as an individual, but I find there are limited ways to stratigize as a team
@StrongBlackVine: It doesnt matter, PS3 got skipped by Kingdom Hearts, so its a pretty level playing field. Xbox even beat the 3DS at selling Lego Jurassic Park game, im sure they can handle Kingdom Hearts just fine.
They did do the final mixes on ps3. All the other kh games to come out where all handheld titles. Square has been traditionally sony in the past save the few handheld nintendo games, but who knows ff 13 was the first multiplat ff game. I dont know if this will extend to kh
The sensitivity only changes the horizontal sensitivity? Why is the vertical sensitivity 1 billion? Default to 3mins per game?

As a solo queue global elite player in cs:go + quake veteran, I can safely say this game is total garbage.
There's no tactics in this game, it's just spray ink, and with no voice comms, you can't even play this game seriously.
Just go play CS or something. I don't know what my expectations were for a console shooter.
This game is more like a Team Fortress 2 style team based game but if you dont like the shooter mechanics then the game is not for you. In turf wars you fight over turf.
How can you say their are no tactics? Did you not understand your objectives? No voice? What did you want to communicate?
Id equate it more to cod since tf is class based wheres splatoon is loadout based
Also I can sympathize with the clam that there is a lack of tactics. Everyone seems to do their own thing without any kind of communication aspect in the game. I just think there was some potential there that would have made the game more interesting and have different tactics emerge
You paint turf and stop others from painting turf. You flank eniemes and work as a team by watching your teammates. The more you play the more tactical you get. Do you rally need to bust out voice commands on a 3 min match of painting turf? Also how are you gonna give voice commands when your teammates probably dont even speak your language.
That was another issue I had with splatoon was the lack of local pairings, always seemed to lag me out in most games when I play with *** players. Its not difficult to understand whats going on, I just think there was an extra level of depth that could have been added to the game to make it more interesting.
I think the thing was that 2k lost the rights to mlb franchise games. It really isnt a matter if they want to make the games, its a matter if they can get the rights back. link
