@KillerBill316

What do you mean by incomplete? Is a game with 6,8,10,..100, hrs of gameplay complete or incomplete?

The players pay for whatever the developers are offering, if you don't think there's enough content don't buy it. If you think there's a fair amount of content then don't complain about the DLC.

He doesn't need to get the "drama" until there's another product that offers the alternative.

On some level, in fact, there's only one level, I would love to see microsoft go through with this decision, then there will be a much more interesting drama. And we'll finally settle the eternal which-console-rules debate.

I think this is a bad article. Though I never preordered any game a month in advanced I can understand why more people would preorder the next AC. I think one of the key factor is the consistency of the series, players know what they are getting or what they are likely to get, if they liked the earlier FOUR(!!) chapters the risk that they would not enjoy the next one is pretty low. Another main reason is that AC has been promoted as a trilogy from start, those who played and liked the previous games would understandably get the next one just to see the story through. And the last point about the developers could misinterpret the preodered-players' intention is plain stupid, any company that do bad marketing research would of course misunderstand their customers. If a group of developers think they can know what their audiences want simply by looking at the number of preorder are bound to get it wrong, it has little to do with the preorder system.

Bad games attract bad gamers. Or rather mainstream games attract the horde and we all know what that's like.
