So is this next gen as well as current consoles? The E3 preview seemed to indicate the graphics tech was something next gen, unless they simply polished it for the show. Reminds me a lot of a Deus Ex/GTA hybrid, and on the basis of this trailer so far a definite release date purchase for me.

The more I think about it......the more I realise it cannot work. At least, it cannot work in the way that Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim work. It *can* be a very good, very deep MMORPG. However it cannot capture the same scale, world and free exploration that defines Elder Scrolls games. My chief worry is that it could be the very first Elder Scrolls game to be bad.....I would hate the series to be tarnished. My excitement/horror meter is sitting at about 30/70...

God this is like games of old, early Mega Drive Titles even. Back then it was gameplay first and foremost, largely because they didn't have much else to play with!

The long term exposure to devices like these is probably exactly the same as using one of the older CRT screens, or working in an office. It's highly unlikely that there will be adverse effects with anything but stupidly excessive use, which is the same as anything else. I dunno, we'll have smokers, drinkers and bad eaters on here, but of course it'll be the new funky 3D glasses that give 'em the adverse effects and/or cancer! Curse these glasses for giving me lung cancer.........oh wait........
