@alienko: Definitely some bad monetization in this game. However it has nothing to do with Blizzard or even Activision, this game is made and sold by Valve on Steam.

I know I'm going to end up disappointed because I agree with Scott more than any other GS reviewer, but I have to pick this one up just to it see for myself. Really bummed about the writing because that was my favorite part of the first three, but at least other aspects of the game seem to shine through the negatives so maybe it won't be a completely sour experience.

@wrestlingdude: Or, and hear me out, maybe he didn't like the game very much. It's okay if a game doesn't review well even though you like it, or if the inverse happens. Reviews are subjective so you can't rely on them further than knowing how much the writer liked the game. Even though I typically agree with Scott I'm still going to get this because I like the ME universe and want to experience the game for myself.

@muddrox: To be fair, Team Ninja isn't running away from the fact that this game is inspired by Dark Souls. In multiple interviews they've said they play and really like the Souls games. Miyazaki has also said he doesn't consider these games rip-offs and is honored that the Souls games are the inspiration behind so many new games. Combine those two things with the fact that Nioh is different from Souls games in many ways (deeper mechanics, mission select, loot drop system, etc), I don't understand the anger coming from Souls fans. I also don't understand why a game shouldn't be getting critical acclaim for being similar to another game that was also loved by critics. Hope this added some new perspective and if you enjoy Souls games like I do, maybe give this one a try and see what you think, I've been enjoying it a lot so far.

@Bread_or_Decide: My argument for Titanfall 2 being better than Doom would be that Titanfall 2 has a really good campaign and fantastic multiplayer. Doom may have one of the best FPS campaigns to have come out in the past decade, but the multiplayer was pretty lackluster, so as a package I would say Titanfall 2 is better.

Disappointed that saltspot.com doesn't redirect here in honor of the community.

@donttouchmyhohos: There's definitely one mob in chapter 14 that's level 72, but you can bypass it by going through an alley on the left. Tried to kill it three times before giving up and going around him.

@gatsbys-halloween: It was $125 before the deal. So, now GameStop will give you the same amount they would have a week ago but now they're acting like it's a promotion. Basically typical GameStop business practices.
