@Neverwinterxxx To be fair, consoles are largely responsible for the initial growth of video games; dedicated gaming PCs didn't come out till the last decade or so, whilst the Atari 2600 and Dreamcast, to name a few, were designed ground up exclusively for games.
Story is important to me. I love having a game with an excellent story. But story with no gameplay makes it more of a visual novel than a game. Likewise, if the gameplay is engaging enough, the story might become secondary. Perimeter, for example. I found the gameplay to be fun and intersting, but its story was so convulted I just skipped it all. I think its best for good games to strike a balance between the two. Games like that are far and few between, but when they do appear, they are to be remembered.
@PompVr I only have a PC, but that doesn't mean PC games are the best. There are awesome games out on the consoles, one of which is above. The PC does not rule. They're called "video games" not "computer games". In fact, once i get enough the 360 is coming home. For the record, I am indeed waiting for Crysis as well, plus i just laid my hands on Bioshock.
