Oh dear, yet ANOTHER Fallout 3 vs Oblivion thread. You fanboys realise that both games were made by the same developer? The guys at Bethesda are probably laughing at you right now. hama666

Oblivion wasn't developed by the same company, only the publisher is the same. 2K games developed Oblivion and Bethesda developed Fallout 3. Personally, after reading some of this thread, it all comes down to personal preference. Both games are awesome and got a great deal of gameplay from me on them. I think Oblivion has better fighting and better general looks (the scenery is incredible), but Fallout has the better textures and the side quests (though too short) are off the wall: the humor in Fallout is the best I've ever seen. Oblivion has a lot more to do as the gameplay and leveling up is way more complex and choosing how one develops their character is better as well. Fallout had a much better framerate than Oblivion as Oblivion sometimes was downright awful to play with the constant loading and jitters, freezing.

Is anyone else not able to connect to XBox Live? XBox.com also seems to be down, coming up with a "Server too busy" message :(

XBL is back up. I wish when XBL goes down, that somehow it could leave a file on the system that self-deletes when it comes back online, warning of the issue or service being unvailable. Instead, most, like myself, go through testing the network and messing with router settings, as per instruction of the 360. It takes most a little while to make posts like here before you figure out it is a problem for everyone and Xbox.com doesn't show a thing regarding it being down.

I'll add my two cents by starting a similar thread and I bet they remove this post, so I will keep an image of it in case:

I won't read this site's review ever again. What does that say about the integrity of a review, if one of their top editors is fired for gving a mediocre review of a game (namely Kane and Lynch) because the gamemaker pulled all of their ads because they didn't like the review. This site should stick by its guns and the integrity of their reviews (as they ask us to do when we review games here). I know sites like these make their bucks on advertising, but what does it say when you give a good review to a game that may actually be bad, and it gets buyers to purchase it.

Also consider, if this site is going to operate on the premise of reviewing games as good to retain ad revenue, they will see a huge discrepancy from other sites that give the same games worse reviews than what Gamespot will to retain ad revenue.
