Welp that 8 made me 100% positive that I'll take a hard pass on installing yet another market launcher. I uninstalled Epic and have zero intention of ever installing it or any other "new and fancy" launcher. Now I'll wait for it to land on steam and pick it up at a deep discount. Too bad...I really enjoyed 1 and 2.
The pre-video ads are unacceptable. When they are gone I may return. Gamespot has been my favorite site since 2005 but over the last year it has continuously disappointed me.
Why is KVO doing all of the reviews for overrated games. Kevin has been one of the only reviewers on this site that I feel that I can trust. Make the reviewers do the review. Stop trying to make Kevin the scapegoat when stupid reviews go wrong like "Gone Home". he may have stood up for the opinion of an over zealous reviewer, he has always provided clean opinions when they are his. This new let KVO read it business is undermining his good work.
Unless you're an online only game you get NO PASS on single player or multi-player. If the developers include both options in the release it is disingenuous to call CoD Ghosts a "primarily" multi-player game and Arkaham Origins a Primarily single player game while simultaneously ignoring aspects of one game and pointing out the flaws of corresponding aspects of the other.
These inconsistencies in reviews are what lead to the suggestions of complicity with publishers. CoD Ghosts is a recycled POS with an atrocity for a single player mode. it deserves all the scorn that it gets, but it's still better than Battlefield 4. Arkaham Origins isn't much better on it's face.
All of the stupid games that were mentioned in this episode are worthy of nothing more or less than a 7. All are half hearted rehashes of solid predisessors that fail to inovate and in the cases of BF4 and CoDg are total CLOWN SHOES.
@LADIES_MAN_2013 Because it is ...BF4 is a clear money grab. It's single player is an unadulterated piece of shit. As a matter of record AC4 lost points because it's multiplayer was "uninspired" WTF???? Battlefield 4 is nothing but Clown Shoes.
I've been a regular member of this site since 2005. I've seen and dealt with several ,sometimes, confusing changes to the layout. This new layout is so confusing to navigate that I'm ready to give up. One of the reasons that I have used this site for so long was the ease of navigation. I could come on and with 2 or 3 clicks find what I was interested in. I am now disappointed and frustrated with how time consuming it has become to find content that was readily available before the changes. In my humble opinion a gaming site should be fun and informational, not unorganized and frustrating.
